Website Terms of Use

Effective date: 17 September 2026

These terms govern use of https://tradesplace.co.uk, operated by Aventura Labs Ltd (trading as TradesPlace).

Who you are contracting with

TradesPlace is a trading name, not a company. The party to these terms, and to any plan or statement of work you enter into with us, is:

Aventura Labs Ltd (trading as TradesPlace) Registered in England and Wales, company number 17437645 Registered office: 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, England, WC1N 3AX

Formal notices under these terms should go to legal@tradesplace.co.uk; everyday support goes to support@tradesplace.co.uk.

Use of this website

You may browse this site for information about our website design and hosting services. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape content at scale, or submit unlawful material via our forms.

No contract by browsing

Information on this site is for general guidance. A binding contract requires you to complete checkout and accept these terms, or to sign a separate statement of work.

Your plan and cancelling it

There is one plan: Essential is £49 per month or £490 per year. All prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where it applies. There is no setup fee.

Your plan has no minimum term. It runs from the date of your first payment and continues month to month (or year to year on an annual plan). You may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the billing period already paid for; we take no further payment after that. Payments already taken are not refunded in part, so an annual plan runs to the end of the year you have paid for.

Every plan covers the build, hosting, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring and security updates. What each plan adds beyond that is set out on our pricing page and in the plan you selected at checkout. Anything not listed in your plan — new pages, additional content changes, form or integration changes and SEO work — is quoted separately before any work starts.

We may increase your plan price by up to 5% once in any 12-month period, and we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not wish to accept an increase you may cancel with effect from the date it would apply, even inside a paid-for billing period or any minimum term your plan carries, and nothing further will be due beyond payments already taken.

If a payment fails we will attempt it again and contact you. Where payment cannot be collected we may suspend the site until the account is brought up to date.

Intellectual property

What you own. Once you have made your first payment, you own your domain name, your website's files and design, all content on it — text, images and pages, whether you supplied them or we produced them for you — and every review you collect through it. Ownership passes to you outright at that point.

This ownership is permanent and unconditional. It does not depend on a separate statement of work, it does not depend on your plan staying active, and it does not end when you cancel or when we stop providing the service for any reason. It is a transfer of ownership, not a licence for as long as you keep paying. On cancellation, or at any other time you ask, we will transfer your domain and provide an export of your site files, content and review data so you can take them elsewhere. We will not withhold any of it — including where money is owed to us, in which case we will pursue the debt rather than your site.

What we keep. The TradesPlace and Aventura Labs Ltd names and branding, and the platform, tooling, templates and underlying code we use to build and host sites, remain ours; you own your site, not the machinery that produced it. Portfolio demo sites we build speculatively for prospects who never start a plan also remain ours. If you started a plan, your site is not a demo — it is yours under the paragraphs above.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Links

We may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Where you contract with us as a consumer rather than a business, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
