Cookie Policy

Effective date: 17 September 2026

This policy explains how Aventura Labs Ltd (trading as TradesPlace) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://tradesplace.co.uk.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.

What we store on your device

Only what the site needs to work. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

  • Session cookies — set when you sign in to the admin console or the client portal, so the site knows it is still you. They hold a random identifier and nothing else.
  • Language preference — remembers which market you chose, so you are not sent back to the English site on every visit.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — our spam check on contact and quote forms. It may store a short-lived token to confirm you are not a bot. It is not used to track you, and there is no advertising profile behind it.
  • Outreach visit identifier — if you reached a demo site from a QR code or a link we sent your business, a short-lived identifier is held in sessionStorage for that browsing session so the pages you open can be joined up. It is not a cookie and is discarded when you close the tab. The Privacy Policy explains how to object.
  • Plausible Analytics — aggregate visit counts for our public website. It sets no cookies at all and cannot follow you to another site.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate visit counts for this website, the demo sites and the client sites we host. It sets no cookies, writes nothing to your device and cannot follow you to another site.
  • Microsoft Clarity — shows us which parts of a page people read and where a page confuses them. We run it in its cookie-less mode: it stores nothing on your device, your visits are not joined up over time, and it is never loaded on a page you have signed in to — so nothing you type into the admin console or the client portal is recorded.

Everything above is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, or is not a cookie at all. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations that means none of it requires your consent — which is why this site shows you no cookie banner. If we ever add something that does need consent, we will ask before setting it.

Managing what is stored

Your browser settings can block or clear all of it. Blocking the strictly necessary items will stop you signing in and may stop forms submitting.
