Every job ends with a certificate.

You cannot inspect electrical work, so you are really choosing who to trust inside your walls. We make that easy: NICEIC approved, Part P registered, and every job signed off with the paperwork that proves it.

What we do

Domestic and landlord electrical work

Every line below ends with a document. That is not paperwork for its own sake — it is the difference between work that has been tested and work that merely looks finished.

EICR reports

Fixed-wire testing for homeowners, landlords and letting agents.

Ends with an EICR and a schedule of any C1 and C2 items

Consumer unit upgrades

Metal-clad boards with RCBO protection on every circuit, installed in a day.

Ends with a Building Regulations compliance certificate

Full and partial rewires

Period properties a speciality. Lifted floors go back down properly.

Ends with an Electrical Installation Certificate

EV charge points

OZEV-approved units, load-tested and app-configured before we leave.

Ends with a DNO notification and a commissioning record

Fault finding

Tripping circuits, intermittent faults and things nobody else could find.

Ends with a written diagnosis, whether or not you use us for the fix

Lighting and sockets

Additional points, outside lighting, garden and garage supplies.

Ends with a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate

Landlords

EICRs, without the upsell

Every rented property in England needs a satisfactory EICR at least every five years. We test, we report, and we price any remedial work as a separate quote you are free to take elsewhere.

That separation matters. An electrician who both finds the faults and charges to fix them has an obvious incentive, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.

Book an EICR
  • Report within 24 hours of the visit, by email, as a PDF.
  • Plain-English summary on the front page for anyone who is not an electrician.
  • Remedials quoted separately, itemised, with no obligation to use us.
  • Portfolio pricing for agents and landlords with several properties.

Why it matters

What "NICEIC approved" actually means

Anybody can call themselves an electrician. An Approved Contractor has had their work inspected on site by an assessor, has to be reassessed regularly, and can be complained about to somebody other than themselves.

Part P registration means we can self-certify notifiable work to Building Control, so you get the compliance certificate without a separate council inspection or its fee.

You can check our enrolment number, 0074219, on the NICEIC register before you let us through the door. We would rather you did.

Reviews

What customers say

★★★★★

EICR on a rental. Report the same evening, quote for the two C2s separately so we could compare it, and no pressure either way. Exactly what a landlord wants.

Rewired a 1920s house we had just bought. Six days, dust sheets down every morning, and they made good the plaster rather than leaving it to us.

A tripping circuit two other electricians had given up on. Found in ninety minutes and explained so I actually understood it.

Where we work

Maidenhead and the Thames Valley

Two vans, one patch. We would rather cover a small area properly than quote for work an hour away and arrive at half past five.
